Dining a Memorable Experience in Kiulap
Kausar Café is the first ever Indo-Sri Lankan Restaurant to be opened in Negara Brunei Darussalam. Experience tasting a vast selection of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, exquisitelycooked with a combination of selected variety of herbs and spices unique to Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Kausar Café Kiulap was founded by a Sri Lankan Malay whose fondness for preparing Sri Lankan cuisine and introducing it to the people of the Sultanate blossomed into the idea of opening up the restaurant.
Sri Lankan food is inspired by various different ethnicities. Colonization in the past era paved the way for the exotic cuisine blending indigenous ingredients and cooking techniques with influences from Indian, Portuguese, Dutch, Malay and a host of other world food
From traditional rice dishes, the staple food of Sri Lanka, to other special dishes such as famous hoppers (bowl-shaped rice pancakes), Iddi Appa (string hoppers) and Lamprais (a dish of Dutch origin) comprising of rice cooked in a meat stock and slowly baked in a banana leaf with a variety of meat and vegetable sides.
At Kauser Café, we ensure complete customer satisfaction in our food and in our services. That is why we have qualified and creative chefs in authentic Asian cuisine and a team of well trained staff to deliver the optimum services to our customers. As a result of our continuous effort to improve the standards in food and service delivery our fine dining restaurant has been received well by the discerning customers.
Our restaurant at D10, Shakirin Complex is a very convenient location to many people around the area of Kiulap, as it directly connects with other businesses and shopping centres.
As well as having a friendly service the food is strictly Halal and freshly prepared to the highest of standards by experienced chefs in authentic Indian and Sri Lankan Cuisine. Come and dine at Kauser Café and experience the mouth-watering exotic dishes from the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.
